More expenses
Well, another expense has just been added to my life. My refrigerator just died. I still haven't financially caught up from having surgery in September, and now my fridge is dead. Crap. Granted, I really wanted to get rid of the ugly, old, gold thing but this wasn't quite how or when I had envisioned doing this. I may end up having to wait until the end of the month to buy a new one. Now if only one of my second jobs could pick up and get me working. I have 2 that I have been working on getting set up with (both per diem nursing stuff) since the beginning of October. Plus I also have an interview coming up at another hospital in town for their NICU and if I got that, I wouldn't work for the 2 agencies most likely. It would be what I'm doing and 12 hour shifts which would be a lot better. I'm worried that all this is going to delay my plans to start trying to get pregnant in Feb or March. Which I suppose isn't a horrible thing if I have to wait an additional several months but I just had my heart set on a Christmas baby. I wish stuff like this would quit happening. I suppose it's that whole thing about making God laugh by making plans.

Oh my goodness... I know!!! Sometimes (like now) it feels like the universe is just crapping all over me. I really think my karma should be pretty good. I live by the Golden Rule. It's my favorite of the 10 Commandments and the best Article in the Constitution. (kidding)
But really, why is the goal of getting financially solvent so darn hard? Why can't things take a break from breaking?
Glad you're getting out and taking care of yourself! I really want to get back to walking/jogging. I hate to do it without Kobi-dog, but may have to--for awhile anyway. I'll use you for my inspiration!
The temping is certainly a good clue about what your body is doing, so if you can bring yourself to finding a way to monitor it, that will help you feel like you're covering all of your bases. But, as you know, it only confirms the fact that you DID ovulate--doesn't help the timing of the AI. So if you can't do it because your schedule is too crazy and your other methods of calculating fertility are clear cut, then don't stress out about it. (Sheesh, I sound like an "expert," and like you, I haven't even done my own first AI yet... You're right. You learn a lot just hanging out with the other sisters on the NW Cryo forum!)
Have a great Saturday!!
P.S. Thanks for helping me get my photo uploads to work. I do have DSL, but something strange was happening that first day. Seems it's sorted out now, though.
Gggrrrrr…. I am so sorry. If its not one thing it’s the other isn’t?!?
P.S
Good luck!
Oh, Michell,
I hear you lound & clear here! Sometimes I think I am in the middle of a Crap storm someone forgot to warn me about. Just know you are not alone. All was going smooth around here about a month ago, in fact I made a comment about it to my Mom & then BAM! Both of my cars(one of which is less than a year old!) broke down within 2 weeks of each other....to the total tune of $400! Growl!
