Ok so I was looking at the newspaper back home and came across this article on ice cream made from breast milk. 0http://www.spokesmanreview.com/breaking/story.asp?ID=16865
And while I think breast feeding your child is fantastic something about the idea of eating ice cream made from a strangers breast milk is a bit ewwww. Not to mention the idea that ok so you're being "kinder" to cows by not milking them all the time for their milk but is it really kinder for women to have to pump constantly to provide enough milk for all the worlds ice cream needs??

It's a PETA thing.
I however,am still bummed I never made butter from my breast milk, or cheese.
I know I know, I am a freak.
The actual letter from PETA is on their website. This whole thing makes me want to eat more meat. I'm not a very nice person I suppose.
You wouldn't catch me eating it.....
uggg..I once read a PETA thing that was all about us being the only species to drink another species milk and how we should use breast milk for everything...their example in this article was in your cereal....yuck!
I will cop to tasting my own (very sweet and delicate tasting), but I wouldn't drink someone else's . I think if women have extra milk to donate, it belongs to milk banks and preemies.
No way in heck would I eat this!
But I understand where they are coming from. Why do we feel better consuming breast milk from a cow than from a human? Forget about the animal rights side of it, cow's milk is still breast milk.
BTW - I love dairy products but have an allergy to them (not lactose intollerant, allergy). The only dairy product I can't stop gravitating towards is cheese. It makes me feel sick, causes swelling in my joints (dairy aggrevates arthritis) but it tastes so good.
Ewww...
All I can say is YUCK!!!!!
